About District Library (Rewari)
District library Rewari was established under Haryana public library act, 1989.Sub divisional library was established in 1989 and was upgraded as district library in 2007.District library Rewari is situated at the center of the city in Bal Bhawan premises, Model town, Rewari.It is enriched with extensive variety collection of 19070 books from general books to different subjects and has subscribed 10 newspapers and 7 magazines. Library has 827 life members and a fully ventilated hall with 60 people seating capacity. Library serves approximately 100 readers and visitors on daily basis. Library remains open for public from 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM daily except Fridays, last Saturday of the month and public holidays. District library Rewari charges Rs 500 for life time membership. District library Rewari serves the information needs of its users without any distinction of class, creed, gender and occupation.
